Grant Submission Process

Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for grant funding to the ALS Therapy Alliance. The following outline will help you prepare the information needed for our next funding review, which happens twice a year in April and November.

Please note grant submission deadlines and number of copies requested in order to ensure timely processing of your application. The ALS Therapy Alliance does not cover indirect costs

What to include with your grant proposal 

Please submit the following in no more than 10 pages:

• Application Outline
• Abstract
• Background and Significance
• Preliminary Data
• Experimental Design

In addition, please submit the following information with your grant proposal:

• References
• Budget
• Budget Justification
• Other Support
• Curriculum Vitae (NIH style) 

Grant proposal submission deadlines

To have your grant proposal reviewed at our April meeting, please submit by February 15th. To have your grant proposal reviewed at our November meeting, please submit by September 15th.
